On behalf of owner Bastion Zuid BV, part of the Renschdael Group, a design was made for the transformation and sustainability of the shell of the current Bastion Zuid office complex in 's-Hertogenbosch. stichd, brand partner in the field of fashion essentials, fanwear and lifestyle, with its roots in 's-Hertogenbosch, will find a new home in a large part of this office complex. We also design the interior on behalf of stichd.

The Bastion-Zuid office complex is located on the Zuidwal, one of the most characteristic city center edges of 's-Hertogenbosch. The location is characterized by its unique location between nature on the one side and the city center of Den Bosch on the other. For example, from the building there is a view of St. John's Cathedral and the Natura 2000 area 'Het Bossche Broek'.

The building is part of the so-called Zuidwalkwartier. In recent years, the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch has developed a vision for improving the quality of this part of the city center. The transformation of Bastion Zuid contributes to this.

Perspective of Zuidwal intersection

The beautiful Bastion Oranje with the Bossche Broek behind it forms the front garden of the building. We open the building to this green bastion, so to speak, we draw the greenery into the building. The public space, located between the Bastion and the building, will eventually be greened by the municipality. The connection to the public area is improved, as is the accessibility of the main entrance. This way, stichd can present itself in the way it wishes; smart, transparent, and dynamic.
