During her career, Imkeliene has lived in many different places and has therefore gained a lot of knowledge about the different (cultural) perspectives. She has thus experienced that the cultural value of Dutch existing (monumental) architecture is very valuable. She likes to apply this knowledge and experience in her work.

Assistant designerAfter an education and career in PR for construction companies, among others, Imkeliene changed course and opted for architecture. She started with interior architecture and furniture design at the University of Antwerp and the University of Bergen in Norway. After completing her Masters in Architecture at TU Delft and TU Kyoto in Japan, she started as an assistant designer at BiermanHenket in March 2023.
