ir. (MSc) Sjoekie de Bijll Nachenius is an architect and Managing Director at BiermanHenket. She is responsible for a large number of transformation and renovation projects, as well as finance and office organisation.

Sjoekie graduated in 1996 from the Department of the Built Environment of Delft University of Technology with a design for the Maritime Archaeological Museum in Lelystad. Before her degree course she sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. After a brief period as an assistant-designer with Van Mourik Vermeulen Architects she joined Hubert-Jan Henket Architects in 1996 as a designer. In 2005 Sjoekie became a partner and joined the board of BiermanHenket.

Sjoekie De Bijll Nachenius is also on the board of the Association of Netherlands Architectural Firms, BNA. She is a licensed arbitrator for the Arbitration Board for the Netherlands Building Industry. She is also a board member of the Van Doesburghuis Meudon Foundation (France). Sjoekie De Bijll Nachenius has been a visiting lecturer at the Maastricht Academy of Architecture, at Arnhem Academy of Architecture and the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht. She was a visiting teacher at the Weekend School for underprivileged children for many years.
